At what stage of the process did your dough take on the appearance? After all, that is what a risen dough is supposed to look like although the only time you might actually notice it is after the preferment/first rise when you turn it out for shaping.
Perhaps if you can give a bit more detail as to when it happened and why this is such a problem we can better assess what might be going on. Pictures too, if you have them.
