Hi, I have finally started to try to make a starter. On day 3 my starter was very active already. However on day 4 I used self-raising flour by mistake. It is now only slightly bubbling. I have discarded most and have used normal flour. Should I start again? Or will it work? Thanks

Hello bukkie,
Although the SR might have had an effect, starters often start with a burst and then go quiet as the micro thingies change their balance.
Another few days and you will likely be hot to trot.
