Todays bake, 3 half baguettes. One of these is just perfect for two people to have with dinner. These were cooked for 18 minutes at 230C on fan bake, I could never get this colour in the old furnace.

TP, the main oven is 490mm wide x 370mm high x 400mm deep.
The bottom oven is 409mm wide x 225mm high x 400mm deep.

Well Forno, for many years I dreamed of a wood fired oven to bake in, since getting my current oven my dreams have stopped.
Hi Bill, nice loaves. I'm sure you've mentioned before but do you steam your oven? I've always resisted the fan bake because I've wondered what it would do to the small amount of steam in my oven.

One good spray of water to the top of the loaf (not on rye loaves) and half a dozen ice cubes into a hot dish on the bottom shelf.
