Do I freeze cinnamon roll made our of sourdough before I bake or afterwards? I haven't tried either yet-- don't want to waste the rolls!! Thanks in advance for guidance!
I have frozen pizza dough before quite successfully so I don't see why not. The only caveat might be the effect of/on the filling but in the scheme of things there is not a huge amount to lose and a lot to gain with goodies on tap for a quick turn around.
One other thought is that there could be a bit of a rise go on before the coolth penetrates to put the babies to sleep so maybe don't pack them too tightly. Maybe lay out on a tray to freeze and then pack in airtight once the freezing is done.
