As for the recipe that is easier said than done, I had this large jar of starter and was too cheap to throw any out. so I sort of winged it for the bread. :-))).
I just tipped a fair amount of the starter into the mixer bowl, added 4 cups flour and 3 cups water, 1 tablespoon sugar, when mixed and rested for about 15 minutes, then I added about 2 ounces soft butter and 2 more cups flour, added about another 2 cups flour then I added 2 teaspoons of sea salt.
I tipped the remains of my jar into a bowl, added 1 cup water and 1 1/2 cups flour...... The lower blue spot is where it started and the you can see what the feed did.. :-))) qahtan
