Hi there! I am so pleased to find this site. I kept a sourdough for about 12 years when my children were young and made bread with it every few days, sometimes daily! The sourdough was given to me by a friend who had had it for 6 years, so that dough had a long productive life. I stopped making bread with a sourdough when we moved house and my children got older but am keen to get back to it. So...off to make a starter sourdough :-)

Hi Juker

I bet you can't wait to taste the first loaf.

How are flour supplies in Canberra? It's hard enough to get a reliable supply of anything much out of the ordinary here in Melbourne.
