Hi everybody,
I've been lurking for a little while having made my way across from Dan Lepard's forum and thought it was about time I said hello. It's a great site - thanks Graham (and everyone who's posted!).
I've been working my way through Jeremy's interviews too and have recently heard Graham's and John Downes'...both really interesting and inspiring. Having heard Graham's interview it's great to see he's got BakerTrade off the ground: it looks like a fantastic idea and made me almost want to move to Australia and become a baker!
Looking forward to joining in :-)
Jonathan

Welcome to the site and I can't wait to hear more from you. Let me know if you need any help with using the site (somethings not working, broken links etc.).

Maedi, I gather the technical side of the forum is mostly your work...great job, thanks!
I love all the photos of the bakeries by the way.

I have to thank you for your comments and hope you listen to the other bakers, like my latest with my friend Vincent Talleu late of the B&B bakery in Dulwich near London, he is back in France the lucky bugger!
As for me I haven't posted a thing here due to being ill all spring with allergies then a flu, getting better, TP where is the sympathy?
Next news is I am off to Istanbul for a week of guest chefing with a wonderful lady who I will soon post about on the site.
But let me welcome you again and hope to see lots of your bread on the gallery and in the forum! Anybody seen John Downes about?
Oh yeah, Johnathan is a good name, I should know it's my middle name!
Cheers!
Jeremy, get well soon...and enjoy your Istanbul stint! How exotic! Promise to tell all.
I've just listened to your interview with Vincent - another good one. I bet some of the French must be upset that he learnt to bake in England :)
I listened to David Aplin yesterday too (work's quite slow at the moment): he sounds like a really nice guy. Maybe if you manage to organise next year's get-together in Canada I'll see if I can make the trip over. It's a shame you can't make it to Brad's this year but I'll keep an eye on things to make sure they don't have too much fun without you!
Will try to get some bread photos up soon.
