The Tropics and Sough Dough Starter

I have been attempting to make a viable starter but have failed.  I expect the high temperatures where I live are a problem.  I live in Darwin Australia where the temp is 33C ( approx 91 F) year-round.  I would appreciate any advice/recipes about how to make sough dough in the Tropics.  Thanks in advance for your advice.
