Geometry Dash World is the most addicting game

I began playing Geometry Dash World for the first time in 2023. This game's concept was really straightforward: complete the level without making any mistakes. Have you contacted the spike? Return to the starting point! The sole way to play was to tap the screen, but there were other interesting and challenging gaming elements as well, such different game modes and gravity-changing portals.

The objective of the game is to master the level by playing it repeatedly until you can finish it flawlessly. Although it doesn't sound like anything anyone would want to play, it gained a lot of popularity.

These were undoubtedly challenging levels. There were a few simple stages and some incredibly challenging ones. In your school, you were considered a god if you could perform "Clubstep". And the sensation you get once you succeed in beating the game—it's like a dopamine factory.

I was going to give up on this game after finishing the first ten levels or something, but then I noticed that one button to the right of the main menu. Then I discovered that there is a community for this game. In fact, you could make your own levels and share them with others to allow them to play. I fell in love with this game when I realized there were an infinite number of custom levels.

The developer's levels were alright, but they looked pretty basic and weren't anywhere close to the gorgeous things that the community was creating. The community's levels, on the other hand, were considerably more attractive. There were extremely difficult levels called "demons" in addition to the breathtakingly beautiful ones. To beat these levels, more work was necessary. I can still clearly recall my excitement upon finishing my first monster. I then began to defeat more of these demon levels. In addition, I watched a lot of YouTube videos, played a lot of level editor, and participated in the community in general.

After five years. What is different now? I began to surpass even more difficult stages that I had previously believed were unbeatable. I acquired a 144hz monitor since this game makes high refresh rate gaming easier. I received a gaming mouse specifically for GD. Playing demon stages was all I did in this game. But I eventually forgot about it. More singleplayer games with intricate gameplay and a real plot were what I wanted to play. I also wanted to discontinue the game because there haven't been any updates since 2017. The problem is, I think I "dropped" this game around four times already. for the same rationale. Actually, it seems like a waste of time to play this game. What is the purpose of playing a game that has no end? You think this game is fun even if you are only tapping one button, what? But after a while, I made the decision to give it a quick try and immediately fell back in love. I've spent 150 hours on Steam so far. I think I've spent about 700 hours on my phone. This is quite a bit. At this point, all I was actually playing was GD. Then, after crashing on an extremely hard demon at 99%, I made the decision to stop. It was at this point that I began to doubt everything. I gave up on the game once more. To be sure I won't play this game any longer, I even removed it from my Steam library.
