If you are anywhere near Boonderoo Farm in the King Valley in Victoria, you might like the sourdough course this weekend as they have a few places left. You get a lot of hands on practice over the two days, not to mention lovely food during the course and bread to take with you, deep in a very very beautiful part of Australia. The people are lovely and it is excellent value for money - it is not expensive and includes accommodation and food. They have a beautiful Alan Scott oven and cover a summary of oven construction as part of the course.
If you can't make it this weekend, it will be on again in November - well worth going out of your way for!
