Hello! I hope everyone is doing well. I have this question that I just cannot seem to find!
I have this healthy sourdough starter that I feed with organic UNBLEACHED flour. My starter is very happy and does its thing :) I am now ready to bake with it! Can I use bleached flour when I am baking? It will never touch my mother culture, so I would assume that it would be fine, I just want to make sure it will not kill the natural yeast in the sourdough so my bread won't rise.
Again, I am not talking about feeding my starter, I am talking about when you are ready to bake bread, can you have a base of all-purpose bleached flour? Has anyone done this? Let me know!
