pinkish color on top

Hello Everyone,

This is my first attempt at a sourdough starter... I have had a few ups and downs, which have only made me more intrigued (or stubborn?)  

My starter sort of stopped bing active, purely due to neglect, and i have been trying to revive it over the last couple of days.  I started to notice a pinkish hue. I have read enough to know pink is bad…  but I can’t tell if this is bad pink or if i’m just being paranoid.

Should I start over?
