Thanks to a terrific postal service, I finally recieved a surprise package in the mail, well not entirely a surprise!
TP, sent me some mooncakes, and they are wonderful! Made me happy after all she is still miffed with my outburst with first Chembake and then Croc, so to clear the air, I apologize to those gentlemen and any others I have offended...I will now live frugally and live in a cave like Mr. Natural!
No this is nice and I wanted to share how wonderful this community is, Bill, Carol and TP, oh yeah Graham, for sharing and well being so nice, "it takes a village-Hillary Clinton..."

My pictures do no justice, but I almost finished everything, delicious and well what do you expect from such talent!
Thanks TP!

Oh don't be sad, Jeremy!
WE LOVE YOU!!!
But please let me know what TP wrote on the customs declaration to get that little Red Cross package to you!?!??!?!??!
The other great Hilary Clinton quote was, "We are The President!"
Mind you, I don't think she was responsible for, "It takes a child to raze a village!", but it could be quite correct!
Oh, speaking of TP *** TP *** ARE YOU LISTENING????
My local supermarket has just started stocking little packets of dried blueberries!! Remember the conversation a couple of months ago about this?
Peace, harmony and Syrian sweets to you all!!!
Carol.
Carol, your the best, she said there were autumn mooncakes on the package, don't know should I send something back as a peace offering?
Ta!
Will you PM her to thank her?
Jeremy
Autumn mooncakes. I guess your average customs guy wouldn't have a clue what they were!
As for DVD's, I have no idea what TP's taste in cinema is, nor what zone Malaysia is?!
But I shall PM her.
Zone, you mean censorship? Well I guess I'll send her flour, what else, I like the movie so much and I promised a copy for Maedi!
Thanks Carol, your great!
Zone. Region.
Australia, for example, is Region 4. I think you Yankees are Zone 1? Of course multi-zone discs solve all those problems!
I found a list:
* Region 1 - The U.S., U.S. territories and Canada
* Region 2 - Europe, Japan, the Middle East, Egypt, South Africa, Greenland
* Region 3 - Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong
* Region 4 - Mexico, South America, Central America, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, Caribbean
* Region 5 - Russia (okay, former Russia), Eastern Europe, India, most of Africa, North Korea, Mongolia
* Region 6 - China
So Malaysia is presumably in Region 3.
TP????????????????

Oh that zoning, well the movie is a little hot so I think I will reserve that for my private library!

I think the blueberries sound like a better deal!
Carla send her some apples, so she can make my cider bread, oh or I could send dry apples!
TA!
Glad the mooncakes arrived....before the next moon, at least. No need to reciprocate, I'm happy that it was appreciated. Will take online orders next year.
Hubby is 90% going to NZ end of this month. I'm preparing a nice long list of things for him to buy home....and that includes dried blueberries and apple cider.
Would love to order but I don't like my chances of getting them through quarantine. However, Dixon St in Sydneys' Chinatown has a pastry baker to die for.
LOL, was just kidding, Bill. Yes, getting food into Oz is tricky.
