Does anyone know of an Australian produced dried Instant Yeast?
I was very surprised to find one of the yeasts sold locally comes from Turkey, the one I use all the time comes from France. Dom, I have been very pleased with my Sourdough Bread (It deserves capital letters) once again thank you for your Tutorial. Tonights loaf was eaten with butter and Kangaroo Island honey, couldn't be bettered.

I don't, but that doesn't mean such a thing doesn't exist.
Have you asked some of your local bakers?
Carol.
Valmai,
glad to hear that you are enjoying your sourdough. Its great stuff.
Only problem I have found is that now I am totally addicted to it (have become a bread snob), and can't go back to the bought loaves.
oh well, have to bake some more...
(sorry, no idea on the dried yeast...)
cheers
Dom
