< Some faces from Melbourne and Victoria
Just back from Victoria and Melbourne. Joost from Berry Woodfired Sourdough was my traveling companion. All the bakeries and bakers made us feel welcome and thousands of photos were taken. We also recorded casual talk and more specific questions to do with naturally leavened bread.
Speaking of which, a common area of discussion was sourdough terminology, and what should and shouldn't be called "sourdough". Interestingly, it was some of the hybrid bakers who felt that only breads without bakers yeast should be eligible to be called sourdough.
