I hope someone out there has a solution to my problem.
My sourdough starter works amazing and bakes wonderful tasty breads.
The problem I have is I have to make my dough very wet to get the holes in my bread. It is a very messy process and the bread comes out wide and flat. Not the look that I'm after!
When I make my dough less wet the bread looks beautiful but has a very dense texture.
I've left it previously overnight to rise, but then is comes out way to sour.
I would appreciate any suggestions.
