I don't know anything about baking but I know good bread. Where I live, near Castlemaine, there are a number of very good bakeries, some of the best. They are all very successful. What I am looking for is someone who would want to set up business in this area but who has an eye towards their own retail outlet. I bought the former Northern hotel in Castlemaine. Amongst its many assets is the former drive through bottle shop. A baker friend of mind has already looked enviously at this space but this was not the opportunity for him.
I want to find someone who can do pastries, pies and pasties etc for these will not only be sold in the drive through bakery but in the main restaurant of the refurbished pub, now called the Newnorthern. A double retail outlet in effect and a symbiotic relationship with the restaurant.
It is, by any measure, a spot on opportunity.
