HELLO AND THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HAVE A LOOK AND READ.I HAVE JUST CLEANED THE TWO CHIMNEYS OUT AND RE POINTED ALL THE BRICK S TO THE CHIMNEYS, THE OVENS ARE IN VERY GOOD ORDER AND THEY ARE OVER THREE SQUARE METERS EACH IN SIZE, I THINK THERE HAVE TO BE A FEW CLAY FIRE BRICKS REPLACED,I HAVE NOT FIRED THEM UP SINCE I HAD THE CHIMNEYS RE POINTED I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT ONE IS A SCOTCH OVEN AND ONE IF A FURNACE OVEN, BUT THEY BOTH LOOK THE SAME TO ME ,ONLY ONE IS A BIT HIGHER AND DEEPER TO THE OTHER.ONE OF THE CHIMNEYS IS SLIGHTLY HIGHER THAN THE OTHER AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD ,THAT THIS IS FOR THE AIR FLOW.THE BAKERY WAS BUILT BY A MR.A.J. MILLMAN, OVER HUNDRED YEARS AGO AND WAS LEASED TO ANOTHER FAMILY FROM ABOUT 1960 TO 1980 AND THEN THEY MOVED AND LEFT THE BAKERY FOR YEARS.WHEN I PURCHASED THE BUILDING I DID NOT WANT TO CHANGE IT AT ALL AND THE ORIGINAL BAKERY LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS FROM A PHOTO IN 1910.IT IS TWO STORY AND HAS ENOUGH ROOM TO STORE ABOUT NINE MONTH OF FLOUR IN THOSE. DAYS IN 1910 THEY USED 62 STANDARD SACK OF FLOUR 150 LBS EACH AND SOME TEN HANDS ARE BUSILY EMPLOYED,THIS WAS IN 1910 WHICH I ACQUIRED IN A BOOK ABOUT COLAC PRINTED IN 1910.MR CLIVE MILLMAN IS STILL ALIVE AND I HAVE HAD A BIT OF A CHAT TO HIM ABOUT HOW THE OVENS WORKED.THE OVEN CAST IRON OVEN DOORS HAVE ABOVE THEM
