Beginner's Tutorial Blog - Temporary Access

The blog and tutorial facility is currently offline due to a spam attack. Basically this facility fell to bits.

We are preparing a new web site which will have individual login’s and a much more secure way of managing content (such as recipes and other individual contributions). Where possible, existing blog content will be transferred over for users to edit as required.

In the meantime, we have been able to make some of Dom’s classic tutorial content available at:

http://sourdom.sourdough.net.au/

Dom's tutorial includes a section on making a sourdough starter; please scroll towards the end of the page to the heading:

Beginners’ blog - a starter, from scratch

There is enough information in Dom’s blog to get up to speed fairly quickly.

Thank you for putting up with this issue. It is heartening to see the forum continuing to attract loads of unbelievably fresh revelations on sourdough.
