Slashing dough - wet or otherwise

I use scissors to make the slashes.

Quick, easy, no fuss.

I, too, use scissors ... they make a pretty little design.

If not, I use a steak knife.  The lame  just doesn't do it for me.

you're right about design.  my daughter asked for a star and I could do it using scissors!
