I'm looking for a recipe for "genuine, moms home cooking" style cornbread.
I've seen a lot of different recipes out there but want a real "authentic", rustic style recipe. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

This was my great grandmothers recipe.
Preheat oven to 220C. Makes 1 loaf tin.
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cup polenta (found in health food section)
3 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp baking powder
2/3 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup melted butter or corn oil
Mix very lightly. Bake about 20-25 min.
