Made my first sourdough bread today that wasn't a total failure

NDW76

Today I feel really proud of myself. I made two loaves of sourdough bread. Not only was it not a complete failure, it also tasted pritty good. I used a recipe posted by Farinam in another thread. http://sourdough.com/forum/first-time-starter-help.

It did turn out to be a little dense. But I put this down to my lack of needing skills. Half way through the process I realised that I forgot to add the salt and added before I shaped the dough into loaves. I think I also added too much extra flour when I was kneeding trying to stop it from sticking to everything.

Next time I will try the stretch and fold method. Also, even though my starter is working I'm sure its flavour will get better over time.
