We are an artisan bakery in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. We have been open for a year and have two shops and sell at the local makets. In 2011 Three Loaves Bakehouse won the following awards:
Best Newcomer to the Baking Industry (National award)

1st place Pecan Invention - North Queensland Baking Show
1st place Decorated Cupcakes - North Queensland Baking Show
We are looking for the following staff:
- Pastry Chefs
We are an artisan bakery/cafe producing European style breads and premium cakes & pastries. We are looking for the following characteristics:
- Passionate - we want people who love their craft and continually want to improve their work so that our clients get the best experience every time;
- Trade qualified or have substantial experience and suitable training;
- You must have relevant experience in your field:
- Bakers should be able to do all aspects of baking from scratch including mixing moulding and working the ovens. Preferable you will have had experience working with long ferment processes and experience working with artisan breads.
- Pastry chefs must be able to produce a wide range of cakes and pastries from scratch. You should be creative with an excellent attention to detail;
- Baristas must have experience and good training. Competition winners would be preferred.
- Must be able to work as part of a growing team - we need team players who see the value in a professional approach to our work and are willing to train and assist others including apprentices. You will be required to work across the business as required from time to time -we call that teamwork.
We operate seven days a week from two locations and with an ever expanding list of premium wholesale clients this means that early work and weekend shifts will be required.
