Forno Radicale is an organic artisan bakery in a café...in a bike shop. We can be found on High Street in Thornbury (near Darebin road).
We try to source all our ingredients as locally and as organically as possible. We are using Powlett Hill wholegrain flours (Victoria), Laucke organic unbleached white flour (South Australia) and Mount Zero pink lake salt (also Victoria).
Currently hand mixing and shaping EVERYTHING. No dough machines here!
We are just starting out so still in the stages of recipe development (and becoming familiar with our oven!). Currently working on our sourdough ciabatta and a pumpkin bread -- tackling the hardest things first!
